BIDL joins the Wheel & Deal camp with his debut EP ‘EXAMINE’ available on digital. The lead track ‘EXAMINE’ is a dark roller, with pulsating bass line that gets rougher and more intense as the track builds. ‘Old Skool’ rave stabs cut through the bass weight and compliment the track with a vibe reminiscent of Jungle or Garage. This track is currently being championed by YOUNGSTA and N-TYPE. ‘LONGHEAD’ is a calmer, laid back, atmospheric track that is hypnotic in its essence. Smooth droning pads lace the track, guiding and drawing you deep into sound. The melody edits and drawn out reverbs are infectious. This track falls into the ‘liquid’ Dubstep catagory that N-TYPE has been curating of recent. ‘ODDBALL’ kicks off the proceedings with haunted pad, reminicent of a METALHEADZ sound that then builds to the vocal sample “Your kind of weird?!” from here on things definatly get that way. The Synth work and sound design on the beats and percussion is second to none. This track is creative and catchy as hell! ‘SIT DOWN’ takes us on deeper half step journey with distorted 808’s, bubbling mids and thunderous sub. His signature haunted pads and verbs give the track depth and vibe leading up to ‘Liquid’ style apriegiator and euphoric strings. The perfect track to conclude BIDL’S debut EP on WHEEL & DEAL RECORDS.
